18th Annual Ames Performance Pontiac Nationals

Hosted by Ames Performance Engineering and promoted by
Super Duty Promotions, the 2008 event promises to be an
excellent one.  Norwalk, Ohio is a great location with plenty to
see and do.  For 2008 there will be a judged car show, Pontiacs
on Parade (not judged) car show, and a swap meet plus
extensive highly competitive drag racing.  

The judged car show, for Pontiac, Oakland and GMC vehicles
only, starts on Saturday August 9 and ends on Sunday August
10, 2008.  Ames Performance will present “best in class”
trophies to the 5 “best of categories” for GTO/Judges,
Firebird/Trans Am, Full size, Grand Prix and “other”.  Race,
swap meet and show participants will enjoy the complimentary
Ames Performance buffet on Saturday night.

Thursday August 7 at 12:00 noon drag racing participants may
line up on Linder’s lot.  On Friday August 8, drag racers can test
and tune with time trials occurring from 12:00 noon until 8:00 pm.  
Racing will take place Saturday and Sunday.  Each day is a full
bracket program with qualifying for on-going races  The cash
payout this year is a guaranteed $20,000.
